PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On September 6, 2022 City Council approved the construction contract for the Tunnel from Zacate Creek WWTP to Chacon Creek Project with BRH Garver in the amount of $39,599,931.00.
BACKGROUND
A takeover agreement was entered into with the City of Laredo and Markel Insurance Company on May 29, 2024. Notice to Proceed will be issued on August 1, 2024 for the construction of the Tunnel from Zacate Creek WWTP to Chacon Creek Project in the amount of $31,649,730.29. This total accounts for credits from previous payments to BRH Garver and deducts in the original award contract amount.
