BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department will be conducting surveillance activities, technical consultation, and share data collection on people with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The Autism Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network is a program funded by Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to collect data to better understand the number of characteristics of people with developmental disabilities living in the United States.
