BACKGROUND

The Texas Department of State Health Services, through the South Texas Development Council (STDC), continues to contract with the City of Laredo to provide public health services through the City of Laredo Public Health Department. These programs provide case management, medical, nursing, dental care, insurance assistance, diagnostic, monitoring, medical follow-up services, mental health, developmental and rehabilitative services, home health services, personal care services, day treatment or other partial in-patient services, home intravenous and aerosolized drug therapy, routine diagnostic testing, hospice care, and other essential social support services.
