BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Bridge Department received a proposal from Metro Elevator Central Texas for the modernization of two hydraulic elevators at Bridge 1, unit #1 (TXE66127) and unit #3 (TXE66129). The two existing elevator units are over 20 years old and have reached the end of their service life. Aging components have led to reliability issues, frequent interruptions, and increased maintenance, with parts now obsolete and difficult to source. Modernization is needed to meet current safety standards, improve efficiency, and ensure reliable daily operation for the public and staff.
Pricing is based on the preliminary site survey and the information included in the proposal from Metro Elevator.
