Recognizing Aaron Garza, an 8-year-old third grader at San Isidro Elementary School, for his acceptance into the National Math Stars program. Out of 6,000 applicants nationwide, Aaron was one of only 80 students selected, placing him in the top 0.2% of I-Ready math performers. He is the only student from UISD and Laredo to advance to the final stage.
Aaron’s dedication and hard work serve as an inspiration to his peers and the community. City Council congratulates him on this outstanding achievement and wishes him continued success.
