PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On April 25, 2022, council approved the construction contract to PLW Waterworks, LLC (now Webber) of Woodlands, Texas for the construction of the Manadas Creek WWTP Project in the amount of $51,269,000.00.

BACKGROUND
?Change Order #1 accounts for CPR-001, which includes cost escalations arising from the delay between award of the project bid and contract execution and issuance of Notice to Proceed for the project. Utilities staff have negotiated with Webber to reduce the cost impact as much as possible for this change order.

?Change Order #2 accounts for CPR-002, which includes increases in scope for a proposed wastewater line railroad crossing with Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), with additional material and labor requirements requested from UPRR after the project had already been bid and awarded. Utilities staff have also negotiated with Webber to reduce the cost impact as much as possible for this change order.

?Change Order #3 accounts for CPR-005, which includes additional electrical conduits and wiring to support flow metering instruments in the project that were not initially captured in the bid drawings. The scope and pricing in this change order are reasonable.
