Consideration to award contract FY25-014 to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Trashco, LTD, Laredo, Texas, in an annual amount of $300,000.00 to provide trash collection services for large volume containers. These services are also required as an as needed basis for all city operations and special events. The term of this contract is for a period of two (2) years and may be extended for one (1) additional three (3) year periods upon mutual agreement of parties. Funding for these services are available in the respective department funds.

BACKGROUND
Requested Formal bids thru Cit-E-Bid for providing trash collection services for large volume containers. Containers with capacities ranging from 2 to 30 cubic yards are needed for various operations and include weekly or bi-weekly pickups.
The city received two bid submittals Trashco, LTD and Southern Sanitation, Laredo, Texas. Trashco was the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
