Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to submit a grant application in the amount of $1,500,000.00 to the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD), under the 2025 Local Parks Grant Program for the planification and construction of Lomas del Sur Park, and execute all relevant documents as determined by TPWD. The project will provide, promote and support outdoor recreation, conservation, and nature exploration. This notice of funding opportunity is on a reimbursement basis. Grant match in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00 and is available through Parkland Improvement Fees-District 2 and 2021 Certificate of Obligation Bond District I Priority Funds.
