SUBJECT
Consideration to award a contract to Houston Freightliner, Houston, Texas in the total amount of $503,425.92 for the purchase of one 2024 (1) Freightliner truck with one (1) Camel 1200 jet/vacuum tank body utilizing the H-GAC Cooperative Contract Pricing for the Utilities Department. This is a replacement truck for unit# 14392 which has already reached its useful life. Funding is available in the 2022 Water Revenue Bond.

BACKGROUND
Staff is recommending that a contract be awarded to Houston Freightliner for the purchase of one (1) truck chassis and one (1) vacuum tank body utilizing the H-GAC Cooperative Contract Pricing for the Utilities Department. Delivery is expected within one hundred and eighty (180) days after receipt of order.
