PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
Consideration to award a construction contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder Mage 4Group, Ltd. Laredo, Texas, in an amount not to exceed $1,860,521.00 for the FY24-ENG-48 Springfield Avenue Phase 2A project for the total base bid including a $200,000.00 contingency allowance. The construction contract time for the project is 135 working days. Funding is available in the Capital Grants Fund.
BACKGROUND
The project consists of constructing a five (5) lane concrete pavement roadway that includes the following: Constructing a 9” concrete pavement roadway (820 LF), 12” diameter water line DR-14 PVC, 8" diameter sanitary sewer line SDR-26, traffic signal, street lights, 12’ sidewalks, utility conduit crossings, etc.
