Consideration to authorize a purchase contract with Ramco Rugged Portables, Austin, Texas, for the purchase of sixteen (16) GETAC laptops through OMNIA Contract NCPA 01-170 pricing in the amount of $65,967.52. This purchase will be funded by the FY24 SB224 Catalytic Converter Grant. Funding is available in the Auto Theft Task Force Fund.

BACKGROUND
Authorization is requested to purchase sixteen (16) GETAC laptops for the Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF). The laptops provide the ATTF personnel with emergency call information and is capable of dispatching officers to law enforcement incidents. It also allows the officer to create incident, accident, field contact, and citation reports. Another purpose for this device is the access to police dash cam video.
