Consideration to authorize the purchase of one (1) unit of heavy equipment for the Solid Waste Department from Bane Machinery, Inc. from Dallas, Tx. In the amount not to exceed $1,602,054.00. The heavy equipment unit is a 2025 DZT8000TKT Series Grinder by Diamond Z. The purchase of this equipment shall be made utilizing Buy Board Contract #788-25. Funding is available in the Solid Waste Fund.

BACKGROUND
The purchase of this equipment is part of the renewal and replacement program the department has in place. The equipment purchase will reduce environmental risk, and ensure continued landfill compliance and operational stability on the Solid Waste Department.
