A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify and submit an application to Every Body Texas, through the Quality Access and Improvement (QIA) Part B Fund, Title X Family Planning funding opportunity in the estimated amount of $17,000.00, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department, for a term period that is to be determined; and further authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents resulting from the award of this grant. Any funding as a result of this application will be appropriated in the Laredo Public Health Department Fund - Title X Family Planning Grant.

BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Health Department wishes to apply for this funding opportunity by Every Body Texas to be considered for funding through the Quality Access and Improvement (QIA) Part B Fund, Title X Family Planning. Through this award, Laredo Public Health Department is able to provide a variety of family planning methods and implement quality improvement strategies.
