BACKGROUND

The City of Laredo “Project Excellence”, developed in partnership by the City
Managers’ Office and the Human Resources Department has made it their goal to
celebrate, acknowledge and honor City of Laredo employees for their years of service
to the City of Laredo and its citizens.
For the month of February, "Project Excellence", is honoring 176 employees
with Years of Service Recognition. Employees celebrating Milestone years of 5, 10, 15,
20, 25, and 30+ years will receive a special token commemorating this anniversary.
Everyone else will receive a certificate.
This evening we are honoring and recognizing the following seven (7) employees that celebrated a Milestone Year anniversary of 30+ years during the month of February.

Fernando Liendo - Public Works - 38 years of service
Jesus Montemayor - Police - 38 years of service
Rebeca M. Castro - Health Dept. - 36 years of service
Guadalupe T. Reyes - Bridge Dept. - 32 years of service
Reynaldo Collazo - IST - 31 years of service
Luis Martinez - Airport - 31 years of service
Jose J. Villarreal - Police - 30 years of service
