Consideration to authorize a change order for the amount of $114,474.00 and ratify the purchase of the retractable system from Hussey Seating for the upgrades at Sames Auto Arena. The majority of this change order is needed to accommodate for adding ADA platform seating that will enable Sames Auto Arena to comply with ADA seating requirements. In addition, there was a smaller part of the order to have cup holders added to the seats. Funding is available in the Sports & Community Venue Fund.

BACKGROUND
Initial approval of contract with Hussey Seating, Staples, MN, in the total amount of $2,422,460.00 for the replacement of the current telescopic platforms which include 1,514 metro polymer seats at the Sames Auto Arena located at 6700 Arena Boulevard, Laredo, Texas. This purchase shall be made utilizing the OMNIA Cooperative Purchasing Contract Program. All labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and bonds are included in the total price. Funding is available in the Sports and Venue Community Fund.
