BACKGROUND

On January 12, 2026, SWART provided an acceptance letter to LTMI accepting the donation of the buses. SWART provides public transportation services throughout the Middle Rio Grande Region, including urban transit services within the City of Eagle Pass, Texas.

The vehicles being donated are described below, both buses were purchased with FTA grant ARRA #TX-96-X001-01. FTA and TxDOT have been notified about this donation.
