Ratification of the City Manager's execution of all necessary documents granting a perpetual easement and right-of-way being a 12 foot wide strip of land containing 5,434.33 square feet of land to AEP Texas central company to install and construct certain electric distribution facilities. Said easement would be located on a property legally described as Lot 1, Block 1 of the Laredo International Airport Passenger Terminal Subdivision, recorded in Volume 10, Pages 45-47, Webb County Plat Records, Webb County, Texas, and as depicted in Exhibits A and B; providing for an effective date.

BACKGROUND
AEP required an easement and right of way in order to enter property belonging to the Laredo International Airport. This property is currently being leased out by a tenant and is in the process of constructing new facilities on the property. This easement is necessary to install and construct certain electric distribution facilities. It is in the best interest of the Airport to approve this easement in order to prevent any delays in the project construction timeline.
