Consideration to award a construction contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder CID Group, Inc., Laredo, Texas in the amount not to exceed $235,884.44 for the FY25-ENG-28 Fleet Metal Shade Structure Project for the total base bid including a $10,000.00 contingency allowance. The construction contract time for this project is 105 working days. Funding is available in the Fleet Management Fund.

BACKGROUND
This project consists of constructing a 19 ft height Pre-Engineering Metal Shade Structure of 80ft x 100ft with a 5 ft perimeter siding, gutters, downspouts, and concrete splash pads at the City of Laredo Fleet Department. Also includes the installation of LED lighting and wire mesh to prevent migration of birds; in compliance with the latest Building and Electrical Codes adopted by the City of Laredo.
