Recognition of the collaborative partners who helped make The Big Event 2026, held on March 28, 2026, a success, including Texas A&M International University, Laredo College, South Texas Food Bank, the Student Government Association Leaders Organizing Volunteer Events (L.O.V.E.) Committee, the National Society of Leadership and Success, H-E-B, Laredo Center for Urban Agriculture and Sustainability, Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, the City of Laredo Environmental & Solid Waste Services Department, the Parks and Recreation Department, and the many dedicated volunteers whose time and effort supported citywide community engagement projects, promoted economic empowerment, and enhanced the overall quality of life and community pride throughout the City of Laredo.
