BACKGROUND

The Transit Department has requested that the City join this purchasing cooperative to expand procurement options and realize cost savings through competitively solicited contracts. Membership in the cooperative will allow the City to take advantage of special pricing for goods and services that have been pre-negotiated and awarded through the cooperative’s procurement process.
