The correct Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is 4Z3AAACG75RU37498.
All other terms and conditions authorized under Agenda Item No. 26-1015 remain unchanged. There is no financial impact associated with this amendment.

Previously approved by City Council | Agenda Item 26-1015 Authorizing the City Manager to donate a 2005 American LaFrance truck from the Fire Department to the Municipality of Queretaro, Queretaro, Mexico (Assigned for use to the City of Quer?taro, Quer?taro, under the custody of the State Civil Protection Coordination of Quer?taro, which belongs to the Executive Branch of the State of Quer?taro). The vehicle will be donated "as is," and the City of Laredo shall assume no liability for its use following transfer. The American LaFrance Truck, formerly designated as Unit #189, has been fully depreciated and holds minimal or no monetary value.
BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Fire Department has identified one surplus vehicle, a 2005 American LaFrance Truck, Vin# 4z3aaacg75ru37498 (Unit #189), for donation to the Municipality of Queretaro, Queretaro, Mexico. The vehicle has been fully depreciated, holds minimal or no monetary value, and is no longer part of the City's active fleet. Donating the 2005 American LaFrance truck will provide meaningful benefit to the Queretaro metropolitan area emergency response services while also honoring the City's international partnership and the recent agreement signed with the State of Queretaro.
