one (1) Peterbilt 548 Water Truck in the total amount of $240,769.97;
one (1) Peterbilt 548 Roll Off Truck in the total amount of $264,850.00;
four (4) Peterbilt 548 Rear Garbage Loaders in the total amount of $1,191,380.00 through BuyBoard Cooperative contract 723-23.
Holt Cat, San Antonio, TX, for the purchase of one (1) Caterpillar 966 XE Wheel Loader in the total amount of $541,166.18 through BuyBoard Cooperative Contract 685-22.
Humdinger Equipment, Lubbock, TX, for the purchase of one (1) TANA 555 Landfill Compactor $1,215,013.00 through HGAC Cooperative Contract EM06-19.
McNeilus Truck, Dodge Center, MN, for the purchase of six (6) Automated Side Garbage Loaders in the total amount of $2,290,836.00 though Sourcewell Cooperative Contract 091219-MCN.
RDO Equipment, Laredo, TX, for the purchase of one (1) Motor Grader in the total amount of $413,800.79 through Sourcewell Contract 011723-JDC.
Funding is available in the Solid Waste Operations Fund and 2023 CO Bond.

BACKGROUND
The one (1) Peterbilt 548 Water Truck truck will be used to control dust emissions as necessary from haul roads and working face by misting with water during periods of dry weather.
The one (1) Peterbilt 548 Roll Off Truck will be used to pick up bulky waste during operation clean ups & recycle at the recycle drop.
The four (4) Peterbilt 548 Rear Garbage Loaders will be used to pick up residential yard clippings, leaves, and branches.
The one (1) Caterpillar 966XE Wheel Loader will be used to load tires, white goods, branches, dirt, & mulch into containers or dump trucks. This machine is vital to landfill operations and enables the department to stay in compliance with TCEQ.
