The City of Laredo Mayor, Dr. Victor D. Treviño, and City Council proudly recognize two Laredoans, Jesse Castillo (Laredo Firefighter) and Homero Contreras (GEO Correctional Officer), who competed in the IRON MAN Texas competition in The Woodlands. This rigorous and challenging event consisted of a 2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. Congratulations on completing this incredible challenge and for proudly representing the City of Laredo.
