BACKGROUND

The City of Laredo “Project Excellence”, developed in partnership by the City
Managers’ Office and the Human Resources Department has made it their goal to
celebrate, acknowledge and honor City of Laredo employees for their years of service
to the City of Laredo and its citizens.
For the month of January, "Project Excellence", is honoring 486 employees
with Years of Service Recognition. Employees celebrating Milestone years of 5, 10, 15,
20, 25, and 30+ years will receive a special token commemorating this anniversary.
Everyone else will receive a certificate.
This evening we are honoring and recognizing four (4) employees that celebrated a
Milestone Year anniversary of 30+ years during the month of January.

Jorge E. Martinez - Police Dept.  - 37 years of service
Ricardo Ramirez - Police Dept. - 37 years of service
Calixto Flores Jr. - Parks & Recreation - 31 years of service
