SUBJECT
Consideration to approve a two-year supply contract with Paradigm Traffic Systems, Houston, TX, in an annual amount of $150,000.00. This contract allows for future related expenditures for the purchase of traffic signal systems equipment, software, and safety barriers products for the Traffic Safety Department. This annual contract shall utilize the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract Program. The term of this contract shall be for a period of two (2) years beginning as of the date of its execution. Funding for this contract is available in the General Fund - Traffic Safety Department.

BACKGROUND
Staff is requesting authorization to purchase the supply of traffic safety control equipment utilizing the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program for the Traffic Safety Department. All maintenance agreements, traffic equipment and software shall be purchased on an as need basis. Staff recommends awarding the contract utilizing the BuyBoard's cooperative purchasing program contract pricing.
