An Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease agreement between The Laredo International Airport and 6552 BBL TX, LLC, for forty-two (42) parking spaces in the Airport’s Long-Term Parking Lot, totaling 19,507.5 Square feet +/-, at a property legally described as 5210 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78041. The proposed lease term is for one (1) year commencing on December 1, 2026 and ending November 30, 2027, with tenant being granted four (4) options to renew, with each option being one (1) year each. Initial monthly rent shall be $3,000.00 a month and will be adjusted annually according to changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI); and providing for an effective date. There is no financial expenditure impact.

BACKGROUND
The Laredo International Airport was approached by 6552 BBL TX, LLC, a current tenant in good standing, requesting to lease forty-two (42) parking spaces at the Laredo International Airport for employee parking.
The additional space totals 19,507.5 Square feet +/- and is located within the Airport’s long term parking lot. The proposed lease term is for one (1) year commencing on December 1, 2026 and ending November 30, 2027, with tenant being granted four (4) options to renew, with each option being one (1) year each. Initial monthly rent shall be $3,000.00 a month and will be adjusted annually according to changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
It is in the best interest of the Laredo International Airport to approve this ground lease with 6552, BBL TX, LLC.
