PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On December 2, 2024, City Council awarded a construction contract to the sole, responsible, responsive bidder Abba Construction, LLC., Laredo, Texas, in the amount not to exceed $417,000.00 for the FY24-ENG-72 Rebid Inner City Park Pool Fabric Shade Structure Replacement Project for the total base bid including a $10,000.00 contingency allowance. Funding is available in the 2023 Certificate of Obligation Bond.
BACKGROUND
This project consists of installing a fabricated PVC mesh roof type, and replacing all of its anchorage components including but not limited to: structural support cables, end fittings, clamps/turnbuckles, and structural embedded plates in accordance with the latest adopted International Building Code requirements, and a minimum of one (1) year workmanship warranty.
