Ratification for payment of invoices for the annual software maintenance agreement as stipulated on the contract with Tyler Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $129,408.21. The maintenance agreement is a hosted environment software allowing the court to process, track and maintain all court records. The term of the contract is for one (1) year commencing on September 1, 2025 and ending on August 31, 2026. Funding is available in General Fund-Municipal Court Technology Fund.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On June 26, 2021, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into an annual software maintenance agreement with Tyler Technologies, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $108,080.00. As per the agreement, the initial term was for three (3) years commencing on September 1, 2021 and ending August 31, 2024. Upon expiration of the initial term, the agreement will renew automatically for an additional one (1) year renewal terms at the then-current Saas fees unless terminated by either party.
BACKGROUND
Laredo Municipal Court has utilized Tyler Technologies, Inc. Incode software as the courts' case management software. It allows the court to process, track and maintain all court records. In 2021, the court transitioned to a hosted environment increasing online services and also enabling the court to work remotely, if needed.
