BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 2024-R-133 authorized the city manager to accept a grant award from the Office of the Governor’s Homeland Security Grants Division to fund for Operation Stone Garden. Said resolution needs to be amended by updating the period of performance dates.
The proposed changes are as follows:
WHEREAS, the Laredo International Airport finds it in the best interest of the citizens of Laredo that the 2024 Operation Stonegarden be operated for the 09/01/2023 to 08/31/2026 grant year to 03/01/2024 to 02/28/2025.
