BACKGROUND

The City of Laredo Public Health Department wishes to apply for this funding opportunity by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the NACCHO: Wastewater Surveillance Mentorship Program 2025. Through this award, support is granted to local health departments in implementing and expanding their wastewater surveillance efforts via inclusive, non-invasive, and inexpensive method of disease surveillance that brings a better picture of community-level infections.
