Discussion and consideration to amend the Hachar Bus Ads FY24-065, Laredo contract through June 30, 2027, for the General Requirements for Exterior Bus Advertising rights to place El Metro approved advertising buses, currently forty-seven (47), which are subject to change at any time, and for contract to include exclusive rights to advertise on any EL LIFT vehicles.

On September 3, 2024, Council approved the FY24-065 Hachar Bus Ads contract.
BACKGROUND
The city received three proposals through Cit-E-Bid for awarding a three (3) year contract for bus exterior and interior advertisement for Laredo Transit Management, Inc., El Metro. Hachar Bus Ads provides bus wrap advertising services to the City of Laredo-El Metro bus system to advertise in El Metro bus fleet. Has Bus Ads will continue to provide specialized sticky back flat and perforated vinyl, King Kong and ½ back and full back bus wraps.
