Consideration to authorize the purchase contract with GT Distributors, Inc., Pflugerville, Texas, in the amount not to exceed $183,000.00 to purchase tactical equipment for the Police Department SWAT members. This purchase shall be made utilizing the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract No. 698-23. Funding is available in the Police Trust Fund.

BACKGROUND
Authorization is requested for the purchase of tactical equipment for the Police Department SWAT members. This equipment will replace outdated equipment and will enhance the safety of SWAT members.
