PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On February 18, 2025, city council approved to award a construction contract to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder ALC Construction, LLC., Laredo, Texas, in the amount not to exceed $765,299.00 for the FY24-ENG-47 Springfield Avenue Extension Phase 4 Project for the total base bid, including a $40,000 contingency allowance. Funding is available in the Capital Grants Fund and 2020A Water Revenue Bond.
BACKGROUND
The project consists of Constructing approximately 2400 SY of roadway pavement, 11,700 SF of sidewalks, 600 LF of 12” PVC Water Main, with related ramps, striping, landscape, appurtenances, and incidentals. Construction contract time will be 90 working days.
