BACKGROUND
The Laredo Bridge System requested a proposal from Midas Contractors for the installation of a new irrigation system to service the surrounding landscaped areas of the bridge facilities. The proposed project includes the installation of approximately 12,000 linear feet of irrigation piping to supply 228 sprinkler heads, the installation of 33 irrigation valves, and approximately 4,000 linear feet of cable for the irrigation control system. The total cost for the installation is $135,800.00. As part of the project, the existing backflow preventer will be tested to ensure proper functionality. Any necessary repairs to the backflow preventer, if required, may result in additional costs.
