BACKGROUND

The Texas Department of Transportation is requesting a construction speed zone limit to 50 mph approximately SH 359 (mile point 20.818) to approximately 2,000 feet prior to Jalapa Street (mile point 10.841/0.955 miles), and 55 mph approximately 2,000 feet prior to Jalapa street (mile point 10.841) to Mangana Hein Road (mile point 17.050/6.209 miles). Tx-Dot will be responsible for the installation of signs establishing the proposed construction speed zone.
