BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo requires the dedication of parkland by plat based on the Laredo Land Development Code Article III which requires Developer to dedicate land to the City to satisfy the parkland site dedication requirements. This land is in the amount of 1.85 acres. The developer proposes to dedicate these acres in accordance with the City of Laredo Land Development Code to comply with the parkland requirements for the development of Las Aldeas Subdivision, a plat with 476 residential lots. The developer chose to post a trust agreement with the City of Laredo and was required to spend $149,464.00 dollars on the construction of the park, an amount of money that is to be reimbursed to the Developer upon the completion of this parkland dedication.
