Consideration to renew contract RFQ FY22-031 to provide Employee Benefit Consulting Services. Gallagher Benefit Services contract is for an initial term of three (3) years beginning May 1st, 2022 and subject to future appropriations; contract has options to renew two (2) additional (1) year periods. Professional service contract is not to exceed $60,000 per year and for the total contract value of $300,000.00. This is the first of two extension periods. Term of contract shall commence on May 1, 2025. Funding for this contract is available in the Human Resources Health and Benefits Fund.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On April 19, 2022, City Council awarded initial term of three (3) years beginning May 1st, 2022 and contract has options to renew two (2) additional one (1) year periods, upon mutual agreement of the parties and in accordance with the terms of the negotiated contract.
BACKGROUND
The City went out on Formal Requests for Qualifications through Cit-E-Bid for an Employee Benefits Consultant. The City received four (4) submittals and Gallagher Benefit Services, Austin, TX was awarded based on demonstrated competence and qualifications to perform the services.
Contract is for three years and has the option to renew for two additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement of both parties and subject to future appropriations. This is the first of two extension periods.
