Consideration for approval of a contract with Reyes Veterinary Services, PLLC located at 3127 Homer Drive Laredo, TX 78041 for Health/Veterinary Authority and City Veterinary services necessary within the scope of practice for Laredo Animal Care Services (LACS). Term of the agreement is for $20,405.00 per month for one (1) year for a total not to exceed $244,860.00 for term period from January 01, 2025 through December 31, 2025; with option to renew an additional one (1) year period; contingent of funding availability. Funding is available in the Laredo Public Health Department fund.

BACKGROUND
Provider will render all Health Veterinary Authority and City Veterinary services necessary within the scope of practice including, but not limited to: establishing quarantine orders, advising and assisting with infectious disease control, suppression and prevention services, and general sanitation specific to zoonosis. Professional agrees to work with LACS to provide veterinary services and implement progressive policies and programming at LACS in order to achieve a collective goal to increase live release, increase annual spay/neuters, and increase the overall standard of care in the community and shelter.
