A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas authorizing the City Manager to ratify the submission of a grant application in the amount of $360,316.00 to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program. If awarded, the grant will provide funding for National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) approved physicals, laboratory testing, comprehensive cancer screenings, and cardiovascular and fitness exams for all firefighters. The City of Laredo will match 10% of the grant funds. The grant will be accounted for in the Special Fire Grants Fund.
