BACKGROUND

The Laredo Police Department’s primary purpose is to safeguard the City of Laredo.  LPD Officers are trained to enforce the laws as set forth by the State of Texas and the United States of America.  Having a workspace available at the Webb County Sheriff’s Office Jail Facilities will be very beneficial for the officers to process arrestees who will be transferred to the custody of the WCSO jail personnel.  This remote booking set-up will allow officers to return to the streets faster to continue their mission of patrolling the streets and keeping our community safe.
