BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo identified an oil discharge within its wastewater collection system after oil was observed in a manhole. In response, on October 26, 2025, the City conducted a CCTV inspection of the sewer main to determine the source of the discharge. During this investigation, the CCTV truck system was exposed to oil and chemical contaminants, resulting in significant damage to the equipment. This purchase is necessary to replace the CCTV truck system that was rendered inoperable due to this exposure.
