Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to accept the FY 26 Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Reimbursement Grant, in the estimated total amount of $6,182.68, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Library Department; and to amend the General Fund budget by appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount of $6,182.68; and further authorizing the City Manager to execute all documents resulting from the award of this grant. Any funding as a result of this application will be appropriated in the Laredo Public Library Department – General Fund.

PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
City Council approved resolution 2026-R-153 authorizing the City Manager to submit the grant application at the July 27 City Council Meeting.
BACKGROUND
The City of Laredo Public Libraries strives to support the educational, informational, and recreational needs of the residents of Webb county through statewide resource sharing programs.
The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) encourage libraries to participate in statewide resource sharing through this non-competitive grant.
