A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to ratify the submission of a grant application in the amount of $5,058,368.10 to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the FY 2025 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grant Program (SAFER). If awarded, grant will allow for the hiring of 15 new firefighting personnel. The City of Laredo will provide matching funds. Funding is available in the Special Fire Grants Fund.
