PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION
On February 11, 2025, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into contract in the estimated amount of $140,105.37 with the Webb County Elections Office / Administrator for the purpose of conducting a Bond Referendum Election in the City of Laredo on May 3, 2025, including early voting from April 22, 2025 through April 29, 2025.
BACKGROUND
On February 25, 2025, the City of Laredo paid an advance payment of $112,084.30 to the Webb County Elections Office / Administrator as agreed to on the estimated contract approved by City Council on February 11, 2025. The pending amount to be paid to the Webb County Elections Office / Administrator is $28,021.07 approved on the original estimated contract and the additional $57,473.27 being charged on the Final Election Contract. Total final contract amount with the Webb County Elections Office / Administrator is $197,578.64.
