Consideration to approve and enter into a continuation lease agreement in the amount of $1,700.00 per month for a total of $102,000.00 between the City of Laredo and Juan Medina to allow the City of Laredo Public Health Department to continue to operate on the property situated at 101 1st Street Zapata, TX 78076 for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition, supplemental and health promotion programs for term of October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2029, contingent of funding availability. Funding is available in the Laredo Public Health Department Fund- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program Grant.

BACKGROUND
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition, supplemental and Health Promotion Programs of the City of Laredo Public Health Department currently operate and provide services from eight sites located throughout Webb County and provide an array of services including eligibility, certification, nutrition education, counseling, immunizations, food supplement voucher distribution, and numerous other health promotion services.
