The City of Laredo Mayor and City Council proudly recognizes Mrs. Emma Leza, United ISD educational leader, on her selection as a recipient of the Inaugural Texas Latino Legacy Award Established Leaders Category, presented by The Concilio and Latino Leaders Magazine. With more than 30 years of service to United ISD, Mrs. Leza has contributed to the district’s seven consecutive “A” ratings from the Texas Education Agency and proudly represented the Rio Grande Valley as its sole honoree. The City of Laredo congratulates her on this distinguished achievement and her lasting impact on education and our community.
