Consideration to authorize the purchase contract with the sole source provider, Genoptic Smart Displays, Calgary, Alberta T2C 5C3, Canada, in the amount of $77,320.41 for the purchase of a large display trailer for Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF) community events. Purchase will be funded by the MVCPA - Catalytic Converter (SB224) Grant. Funding is available in the Auto Theft Task Force Fund.

BACKGROUND
Authorization is requested to purchase a large display trailer for ATTF to promote awareness on motor vehicle crimes at community events. Genoptic Smart Displays, headquartered in Calgary, Canada is the sole source manufacture of the ‘EnviroSlim Max mobile outdoor display system’. Genoptic LED mobile display systems are not available from resellers, agents, or dealers.
