An Ordinance ordering and proclaiming a Joint General City Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026; for: the Election of City Officials; designating polling places; providing for publication; and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with the Webb County Elections Office / Administrator in the estimated amount of $92,567.46 for the purpose of conducting a joint election with the County of Webb, Cities of Rio Bravo & El Cenizo, Laredo College, Laredo Independent School District, United Independent School District, Webb Consolidated Independent School District, and the Webb County Appraisal District; and any other matters relating thereto.

The City Council by City Charter shall hold an election for the following City Council Districts: I, II, III, VI, Mayor, and Municipal Court Judge Position 1, every four years, which falls on November 3, 2026.
