Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to accept and enter into a contract from The Meadows Foundation, for the Community Mental Health Program Recharge Center at Santa Rita, amending the FY2024-2025 budget by appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount of $80,600.00, with no match for the City of Laredo Public Health Department for the term period from October 01, 2024 through September 30, 2025. Funds will be accounted for in the Laredo Public Health Department Fund - The Meadows Foundation Grant.

BACKGROUND
The Meadows Foundation contracts with the City of Laredo to provide public health services to residents of Laredo and Webb County through the City of Laredo Public Health Department. Through this partnership, the City of Laredo Public Health Department will revamp their Community Mental Health Recharge Center at Santa Rita to further provide mental health services to the uninsured and underinsured in Webb County.
