BACKGROUND
The Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores is respectfully requesting your valuable support so that, if possible, and as occurred during the 2025 edition of this event, vehicular traffic from north to south on International Bridge I, “Gateway to the Americas,” may be suspended for fifteen minutes. During that time, a group of women from Nuevo Laredo-invited by the United States Consulate General in Nuevo Laredo-will walk across the bridge from south to north, while a group of women and allies from Laredo will walk from north to south to meet at the midpoint of the bridge and share an embrace. At the same time, participants will carry roses.
